Happy New Year

Winter Break was 2 weeks of basically rest, relaxation, and fun.
The kids didn't want to go anywhere this break.
They wanted the schedule to be a bare minimum as much as possible.
And I was all for it.
We spent quiet days at home, outside, and the park.
We went to see "The Hobbit".
Temple Trips and Zoo Trips.
Walking to Bahama Bucks.
Playing with cousins.
Ice Skating.
Mom and Dad dates to "Les Miserables" and "White Christmas" .
(Thanks so much again Andy!!!)
New Year's Eve saying  goodbye to the temple lights.
Book reading at Barnes and Noble.
And any other relaxing thing you can think of.

The kids cried (j/k) when Andy hurt his toe really bad on Christmas Day and we weren't able to do any hikes.
Andy did however, plan a wonderful day trip to the Tonto Cliff Dwellings.
The drive was fun and beautiful.
We laughed hard and enjoyed the scenery.
And the hike up the wheelchair accessible ramp was adequate for everyone as well.
No whining.
Andy plans the best adventures!
Tonto Lower Cliff Dwelling
I wouldn't mind seeing this view when I woke up every morning.

Now we are ready to start our new year.
The kidos are back in school and I am trying to get back into the swing of things.
It's Thursday and we've almost made it through the week.

WHAT WILL 2013 BRING TO THE MAXFIELDS?

MORE GROWTH.
MORE ADVENTURES.
MORE EXPERIENCES TO SEE THE BLESSINGS IN OUR LIVES.
SUMMER GIRL BEING ABLE TO LEGALLY DRIVE!
2013 HERE WE COME!!!
