Parker, AZ on the Colorado River
This was the best Spring Break I have experienced since I left home for college.
I have spent the last 16 years spending Spring Break in cold, rain, sleet, snow, or mud.
We never had money to go anywhere warm and sunny for Spring Break.
Living in sunny AZ, we didn't have to go far to enjoy the beauty of this state in the Spring.
We packed every inch of space in our Voyager and headed west.
We ended up in this beautiful place, thanks to all of Andy's research and planning.
The desert was greener than I've ever seen it and full of flowers
The weather was in the low 80s.
We were excited to go camping!
It wasn't like what we were use to.
It was city camping. Our spacious tent was surrounded by RVs.
Apparently national parks are quite different in AZ compared to UT.
It was more like a camping parking lot.
However, being one of the few tents, we did get one of the best sites.
We missed the quietness of being secluded in nature, but we had a very fun time! Are kids are finally at an age where traveling is more fun than stressful and I love being able to relax more when we are actually vacationing. It's nice to feel rested, instead of exhausted while on a vacation.

THINGS WE COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT
Swearing, drunk college boys waking us up the first night (great lesson opportunity for teaching Summer and Taylor why drinking isn't smart and how unintelligent swearing sounds, especially when you use it every other word.)
Bug bites.
It was a great trip! Thanks for planning it Andy and for all your hard work. You are the best!
