FHE

FHE at Golfland
On Monday night we wanted to go bowling, but all the lanes were taken over by leagues.
So we decided to go play miniature golf.
When we pulled up to Golfland we had 3 reactions.
Joshua-"Look!  A Castle!"
Taylor-"Are you sure it's not too late to play golf?  It's 8pm."
Jacob-"Are you sure we can afford this place?"
Golfland is one classy mini golf course.
We did remind Taylor it was summer and we could extend bedtime for the night.
And we oohed and awed with Joshua over the castle.
We had the best time.
Everyone actually played the game.
The younger 3 went ahead playing their own game, while the older/mature family members played "competitively".
Joshua didn't event get frustrated.  He figured out how to push the ball along with the club to get it closer to the hole.
It was the last "cool"  summer evening and we enjoyed it immensely.
It was one of the best family activities that we have had for a while.
Everyone was happy and having fun the whole time.
I loved every minute of our family togetherness.
