We ended up at Tonto Natural Bridge which was truly amazing and offered us the weather and exploration we were searching for.
Joshua feeling the mist from the huge watefall -"IT'S RAINING!"
Taylor and Jacob trying to catch cray fish.
Taylor-"We need a Gatorade bottle and some tuna."
Summer doing some serious hiking under the bridge.
We had the best day!
It was our own family field trip and I think very educational.
Taylor was pretty stressed about missing school and all the work he would have to make up.
But I think he would even agree it was worth it.
We promise we won't make ditching a habit and of course is only acceptable when it's mom's or dad's idea.
Oh and on Saturday my mom took Summer and I too this lovely musical at the Hale Theatre:
We had so much fun!
We were on the front row and could see everything, including the sweat on the actors from all their hard work of dancing and singing at the same time.
They were amazing.
I was so happy when I came home.
I definitely need/want to go again.
Summer, being quite the drama student, also appreciated the show.
Thanks so much mom and dad!
Wise decision to go on a family field trip and get more out of the ward campout!!!
