Happy June and the 4th of July

Celebrating the birth of our great nation on the sabbath day

in our backyard while playing UNO,

very grateful that it's only 95 degrees at 8pm.

It feels rather cool outside to us lizards.

I can't believe June is OVER! 

The time flew by.

We had lots of happiness and lots of fun.

Our  June included the structure of summer school, swim lessons, craft class, summer movie days, cub scout camp, latin lessons, gym classes, mutual, and everyone pitching in to do the housework.

For fun we went swimming, swimming, and swimming using already 3 bottles of sunscreen and obtaining "naked" swimsuits (Kate's name for tan lines.)

We've played with friends, cousins, and each other.

We've stayed up late and have slept in.

We have read thousands of pages of books.

Watched our favorite movies and shows.

Our daily diet has consisted of bean dip, tortilla chips, tubs of fruit, salads, water, juice boxes, millions of otter pops, and ice cream every night.

It has been pure bliss.

We have enjoyed every minute of it.

There has been minimal whining, crying, fighting, but lots of LAUGHTER.

The morning of July 1st I saw boredness appearing in each of my children's eyes, but we will continue on.

We will not put any dampers on this summer.

We will suffer through the fun for the next 3 weeks until vacation time starts

and we pack up our car headed to the beauty and coolness of our heaven on earth,

UTAH.

not returning until school begins again.
Oh but wait.  I forgot!
We have 2 birthdays in July.
The excitement will continue....
