Kate had the best 6th birthday ever! (her words)
She was so excited for the day that she actually woke up at 6:24 am.
I don't think she has woken up before 9:00 am this whole summer.
She had a fun water party with friends and family and birthday cake with Gma and Gpa Cardon and Scott.
She loved all of her gifts especially all the Strawberry Shortcake toys with which she played with most of the day.
Although before she went to bed she declared to me-
K-Mom guess what my favorite gift was?
What?

So easy to please at the age of 6, especially when you have an enormous sweet tooth like Kate.
I could have saved a bunch of money and just wrapped up some Skittles and Tootsie Rolls.
Oh well.
Books and toys will keep her occupied longer and are better for her teeth.
I'm was just so happy to see her so happy the whole day.
But that is pretty much Kate everyday.
She is one bundle of happy energy
Always acting as if everyday is as exciting
As a birthday.
Is she really six! She is still 4 in my mind. She is so stinking cute! What a fun cake. I see a sun and beach. Is she a beach girl?
