UTAH

Next to the temple, the mountains of Utah are my comfort and place of peace.
North or South, I love them all and I am so grateful we were able to spend 10 days in the place we love most.
As soon as all of our summer activities were completed, we packed the car and headed north.
Since Con and Kathe have a house in St. George,  we decided to stay the night and enjoy the red mountains.
Upon are arrival we headed off for a nice walk on the golf course and played in the sprinklers to cool off.
Now I am not a golf fan, but the view there is incredible and I was just giddy to be able to spend a summer night outside.
When we arrived in Salt Lake,  I spent the next day in half, literally outside under the shade of the tree, laying in the grass, and reading my book.
I even took a nap or two.
Kathe kept coming outside to check on me.
"Aren't you hot?"
She kept asking me.
But oh no.
I was in heaven.
I was finally relaxing after the busiest summer of my life and I was enjoying the grass, breeze, mountains, and shade.
I was just enjoying the outside and enjoying a much needed lazy summer day.
My goal for this vacation-
Spend as much time outside, which would include much hiking.
My children weren't as enthusiastic about the hiking bit, but they had a great time too.
We included visiting lots of family, swimming, temple square, movies with Grandma and frozen yogurt stops to mix it up.
