Taylor's 13th Birthday

As always we planned to be on vacation on Taylor's birthday.
July 30th always seems like a good time to get out of this hot oven.
As usual Taylor talked us into a party before we left.
All he wanted was friends, swimming, and lots of donuts.
3 dozen to be exact.
Lots of swimming, laughing, and stuffing their faces with donuts.
The boys had a great time!

Taylor spent his real birthday having some fun in UTAH-----

Taylor woke up to a delicious breakfast made by Grandma Maxfield.

He received some generous gifts.

And then by his request we headed off  to the lake where Taylor showed us how manly he was becoming by swimming to the interior island.

I got a little nervous, but he made it safely.

He felt pretty proud of himself, especially when a group of very big men cheered him on.

It was a great day!!!!!!

I must say that so far I am loving the teenage years and it is fun to have another one officially in the house.

Will see how many more muscles you get during the next year.
