Summer's Dance

Summer is loving high school.
She has especially been enjoying her dance class.
January was filled with lots of dancing, as her and her classmates prepared for their upcoming show.
She would be dancing on the big stage.
Wearing makeup for the first time.
And spending hours dancing her toes off to get all the moves just right.

Of course I had to see her perform both nights.
And both nights I just smiled and smiled watching her dance.
Both dances were perfect for her personality.
She was beautiful, graceful, and hip-hop-happening.
I was so proud of her for all the work she put into it.
I was just happy to see her so happy.
And being cool, collected, and so sure of herself, as she always is---
"I wasn't even nervous."
She is sad though that it is all over.
She loves the stage and wants to stick with this dancing thing.
