UT Part 4- Aunt Maureen's and The Jordanelle

Kate with Juliet- the  baby goat she got to name.
When we ask our kids what they want to do in Utah, they always say-
"Go to Aunt Maureen's!"
They love Maureen's huge grassy backyard, ponies, horses, cats, dogs, baby goats, and trampoline.
Maureen gave all the kids pony rides.
She was kind to invite all the Maxfield clan over and we had a big summer potluck in her backyard, chatting with everyone for hours.
The kids didn't want to leave and of course they wanted to take the goat with them.

Joshua, Taylor, Kate, and Jacob
On Taylor's birthday he got to chose the activity for the day and so we headed to the Jordanelle,
where the kids played in the lake and mud.
I enjoyed watching the my children play and the sailboats, and of course I got a little reading in.
We played until it rained and then enjoyed a yummy spaghetti dinner and leftover chocolate birthday cake all  made by Grandma Maxfield (Yes, she totally spoils us).
Taylor totally digging the mud

Joshua always happy in the water

Kate and Jacob building something creative, as usual.

Summer choosing just to wade in the water.

Kate posing for the camera because that's what Kate does.
