Taylor and Scout Camp

Taylor right after returning from Scout Camp

Taylor came back alive from his first Scout Camp experience.
I should have taken a picture with him with all of his gear, but he left at 4:00am.
I think he had a good time.
He had lots of stories to share, a lot about the food.
And yes he did earn lots of merit badges.
He did say his favorite day was the last day because they didn't have to work on any merit badges.
After showering and putting all his gear away-
He read the funnies and invited his buddies over- the ones he had been spending all week with.
I guess they couldn't get enough of each other.
They all took turns falling asleep on the couch and sharing funny stories.
He liked it enough that he is already talking about next year.

Summer left this note for Taylor.
She headed off to Utah for EFY before Taylor returned home.
It will be two weeks before the 2 see each other.
Kind of crazy.
I guess that is how it is as everyone gets older.
Each experiencing their own adventures as they become more independent.
They don't seem to mind, but I sure am getting all sentimental about it.
