I told her that wearing her white running shoes would keep her safe from getting hurt.
Every PE day it would be a fight.
She would want to wear her pink fluffy boots, flip flops, or black mary janes.
Finally the last few weeks she has had a change of heart and has been ever so willing to wear her speedy running shoes.
However, her running shoes couldn't save her from injury while hanging from the bars on the big kids play ground during PE.
She fell flat on her face, instead of her feet.
Her cute pouty lip turned into one fat purple lip.
(It looks worse each day. Bruised lips are pretty nasty looking.)
Kate is one for never complaining.
She cried in the corner on the playground by herself, until one of her friends noticed and got the teacher.
Even with a fat lip she still has a smile on her face.
Even though she has trouble talking, she hasn't stopped.
She is as pretty as ever, even with a fat purple lip.
Joy seems to radiate from this little girl no matter what seems to happen to her.
